    1. We’re aware parts of the northern hemisphere have had some extra chill this winter – we will wait and see what translates to our neck of the woods.

  1. Har-rumpf. Here I sit, on the Canadian border, awaiting the start of (what we HOPE will be) the final serious snowfall of the season. They predict up to 6-8 inches and temps at least 10 degrees below freezing until Monday.

    1. Yikes, quite the opposite of our experience, Ron. That would certainly slow down the fires burning on Sydney’s southern outskirts today.

  2. It has been such a hot summer I think for you this year? We, by contrast, have had a very mild summer and we even had our first wood fire of the autumn last week. Do hope it cools down soon for you and the fires don’t cause too much damage.

    1. Thanks, Rosemary. A long way from us but no houses lost thanks to the firies great efforts. Cooler today – hope it lasts ?
